Curcio Resigns to Pursue Opportunity

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that Assistant Coach Pat Curcio has resigned as Assistant Coach of the London Knights Hockey Club to pursue an opportunity that has arisen to be Head Coach and General Manager in professional hockey. Curcio will continue to run the Euro Can Cup where he be joining Dale Hunter on the bench for this event which will run from August 24-31, 2009 at the John Labatt Centre.
Curcio has served as Assistant Coach of the London Knights for the past 2 seasons. He helped the Knights to a Midwest Division Championship in 2008-2009 and helped lead them to the Western Conference Finals in April 2009.
Curcio joined the Knights on July 24, 2007.
