Culver's RBI Guy Comes Through

Juan Richardson has only been a member of the Snappers for a few games but he's already making friends at Pohlman Field. Darrell Thomas is now probably Richardson's biggest fan after the third baseman won him $500 during Monday afternoon's game. Thomas, a Janesville native, won the $500 randomly after Richardson (Monday's Culver's RBI Guy) delivered an RBI in three different at-bats.

Culver's has been a corporate partner of the Snappers for years and has participated in the RBI Guy promotion for quite a while. The promotion, like many others, is a big fan favorite.

"The Culver's RBI Guy has been an awesome promotion for us for a while now," said General Manager Jeff Vohs. "They, like all of our sponsors, are a big reason for our success."

During each home game, a Snappers player is picked at random as the Culver's RBI Guy. Each at-bat that the batter gets an RBI, Culver's provides a randomly selected fan with a prize. The first two prizes include a custard cake (first at-bat with an RBI) and lunch or dinner for four (second at-bat with an RBI). If the RBI Guy gets RBIs in three different at-bats, like Juan Richardson did on Monday, then one lucky fan receives $500, courtesy of Culver's.
