Cubs and Sky Carp Washed Away on Wednesday Night

South Bend, IN - Due to a popup thunderstorm and unplayable field conditions, Wednesday's game between the South Bend Cubs and Beloit Sky Carp at Four Winds Field has been postponed.

The two ball-clubs will make up game two of the six game series on Friday night as part of a seven-inning doubleheader beginning at 5:35 PM. The second game will follow on Friday night 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. Tickets purchased for Wednesday night's postponement can be exchanged for any remaining 2022 regular season home game at Four Winds Field. Anyone with a ticket for Friday's game is able to attend both games.

The Cubs and Sky Carp will play their regularly scheduled game on Thursday night at 7:05 PM.

South Bend and Beloit are tied for first place in the Midwest League's West Division. The battle for the top spot in the circuit will feature the next three nights being aired on Marquee Sports Network. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday's action will be televised live on the television home of the Chicago Cubs.

Thursday night will feature South Bend's weekly 'Thirsty Thursday' promotion with two-dollar 16 oz. draft beers and sodas. Friday's doubleheader will be followed by a Fantastic Friday Fireworks show. Also arrive early for Indiana 811 Day, as the first 1000 fans through the gates will receive a baseball cooler bag.
