Cubs & Threshers Cancelled
Published on May 27, 2012 under Florida State League (FSL1)
Daytona Tortugas News Release
Sunday's Daytona Cubs vs. Clearwater Threshers game has been cancelled due to weather from Tropical Storm Beryl. With on-and-off rain all day, and scheduled rain and strong storms to continue through Monday, it was decided that there was not going to be a window of time to get the game in on Sunday at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Since Sunday's game was the final time the two teams were scheduled to play each other in the first half, the game has officially been deemed "cancelled." All tickets can be used for any remaining 2012 Daytona Cubs regular season game, with the second reading night scheduled for Friday, June 8th.
Please contact me (Robbie Aaron) with any questions or concerns. The next scheduled Daytona Cubs game is on Tuesday, May 28th at Space Coast Stadium, with game one of a doubleheader versus the Brevard County Manatees scheduled to begin at 5:05p.m.
