(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC)) - After managing to get two games in under damp conditions, the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club has postponed Saturday night's game vs. Eugene due to inclement weather. This game will be played on Tuesday, July 24th at Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium as part of a doubleheader with game one set for 5:05pm.
The Canadians (10-5) will remain at home to open up a three-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (6-9) starting on Sunday, July 1st at 7:05pm. Vancouver RHP Eric Brown was scheduled to pitch on Saturday and will remain the projected starter for Sunday's game vs. Salem-Keizer.
Notes: The Canadians announced today that SS Matt Johnson will move into the bullpen as a part of the team's pitching staff for the rest of the season... OF Dalton Pompey returned to Florida this morning to deal with a fractured hand and has been placed on the 7-day disabled list.
