(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Vancouver Canadians got behind early and couldn't find the offense needed to pick up their second straight victory falling 8-4 to the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Tuesday night. The Canadians gave up seven runs over the first four innings as the Volcanoes moved three full games up on Vancouver in the Northwest League's West Division. With the loss, Vancouver falls to 5-6, the win moves Salem-Keizer to 8-3.

Bottom of the 1st Inning: C's 1 Volcanoes 0
After 3B Ryne Jernigan reaches on a fielder's choice, 2B Nino Leyja hits his first double of the season advancing Jernigan to third base. DH Kent Walton then steps up and singles to right field scoring Jernigan giving the Canadians an early 1-0 lead.
Bottom of the 6th Inning: C's 2 Volcanoes 7
DH Kent Walton hits his third double of the season to lead off the home half of the 6th inning before coming around to score with one out on a single to left field off the bat of 1B Anthony Aliotti.
Bottom of the 7th Inning: C's 4 Volcanoes 8
After 3B Ryne Jernigan walks with one out, 2B Nino Leyja hits his second double of the game to center field scoring Jernigan from first base. Leyja scores on a hard hit ball off the bat of DH Kent Walton that handcuffs Volcanoes SS Ryan Cavan that goes off his glove and into shallow centerfield. The defensive play is called an error.
