Crush activate Young, Klein

DENVER – In a series of roster moves, the Colorado Crush today activated FB/LB Rich Young and OL/DL Donny Klein from injured reserve, and placed FB/LB Chad Dukes (strained right groin), OL/DL Maurice Anderson (strained left groin) and WR/LB Darcey Levy (strained right hamstring) on injured reserve. The roster moves leave the Crush with 20 players on the active roster.

Young (6-3, 255, Tulsa), in his sixth AFL season and second with the Crush, leads the Crush in both rushing (19 carries, 56 yards, 4 TDs) and sacks (5.0-18). Young missed the last two games after being place on injured reserve on April 29 with a case of turf toe in his left great toe.

Klein (6-1, 296, Temple) also missed two games after being placed on injured reserve on April 29 with a strained back.

Dukes (6-0, 255, Pittsburgh), in his sixth AFL season, is the fifth-leading rusher in AFL history with 1,123 career yards and saw his first action of the season the last two games after spending the first 12 games on injured reserve with a strained right groin. He rushed for 12 yards and a touchdown, made 1.5 tackles and blocked an extra-point in those two games.

The American Conference-leading Crush (9-5) host the Nashville Kats (6-7-1) on Friday night at 7 p.m. MT at Pepsi Center.
