
Cristoforo and Greentree Named to Hockey Canada U-17 Development Camp

Two new Spitfires Anthony Cristoforo and Liam Greentree will be in Calgary from July 10-16th to participate in Hockey Canada's national under-17 development camp.
The camp will have 100 players across the nation attend including 10 goalie, 30 defenceman and 60 forwards. They will be split into 5 teams for on and off-ice training.
66 of these players will be named to one of three Canadian national teams (Red, White & Black) that will compete at the 2022 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge from Nov 5th-12th in Langley and Delta, BC.
Cristoforo spoke on being named to the camp
"It's a huge honour to be selected by Hockey Canada." Cristoforo said. "Growing up you always dream to wear the leaf on your chest. Going to Calgary is going to be a surreal feeling."
Greentree spoke on being named to the camp as well.
"It's unreal (to be named to Hockey Canada)." Greentree started. "Representing my country is a big thing, it feels very good. I have some family that lives in Alberta so it will be a little reunion."
