
Crew Begins Two-Game Homestand

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Monday, May 8, 2006) - The Columbus Crew begins a two-game homestand vs. the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, May 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Crew Stadium. After Colorado, The Crew hosts D.C. United on Saturday, May 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Crew Stadium.
In honor of Mothers Day (May 14), The Crew will offer the first 500 Mothers a complimentary ticket for Saturday's game with the purchase of a full-priced ticket. The offer is exclusively on TheCrew.com.
The Crew is 2-3-1 (7 pts) on the year and sits tied for 3rd in the Eastern Conference after a 1-0 win at Real Salt Lake on Saturday, May 6. Rookie Jason Garey tallied his first career MLS goal in the win. Colorado is 2-2-1 (7 pts) on the year and tied for 3rd in the Western Conference after a 2-1 win at home vs. D.C. United on Saturday, May 6. It is the second meeting of the year between The Crew and Colorado, with the Rapids winning the first matchup, 3-1, in Denver on April 8.
Saturday's match will be televised nationally in high definition on HDNet. The game can also be heard in English on The Brew @ 105.7 or in Spanish on Radio Sol, AM-1550. Both broadcasts can be heard on-line on TheCrew.com and MLSNet.com.

LEONARD BISAKU EXPECTED TO ARRIVE IN COLUMBUS THIS WEEK
Croatian midfielder Leonard Bisaku is expected to arrive in Columbus this week and be available for Saturday's game vs. Colorado. Bisaku signed on April 4 but has been awaiting his Work Visa.

CREW'S U.S. SOCCER FOUNDATION PASSBACK NIGHT IS SATURDAY, JUNE 10
The U.S. Soccer Foundation, in partnership with the Crew, MLS and Eurosport, will be collecting new and gently used soccer equipment at Crew Stadium on June 10 through its Passback program. The equipment collected will then be distributed within the community to the Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks so that others may enjoy the wonderful sport of soccer. Eurosport will be awarding a $200 gift certificate to the team or individual donating the most equipment and fans are encouraged to gather up those jerseys, shin guards, shoes, socks and soccer balls and bring them to the Crew's 7:30 p.m. game vs. the Kansas City Wizards to "Share the equipment. Share the Game!"
