Jackson, MS; June 18, 2004- Ryan Creek had his "A" game again tonight against Pensacola pitching 7 innings in gaining his 3rd win in a row as Jackson topped Pensacola 6-2. Creek struck out 6 batters and is now 3-0 on the season. Jackson solved hard throwing right-hander Josh Kranawetter with 10 hits tonight, including multiple hit nights from Selwyn Langaigne and Alex Llanos. The win for the Sens ends a 4 game losing streak while Pensacola has now lost 3 in a row. The Senators scored runs in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th innings. The biggest inning would come in the 7th, as Jackson tuned up Bubba Dobson for 3 runs and four hits. Along with the strong pitching performance by Creek, 10 Senator hits, and 4 costly Pelican errors was enough to give Jackson the win. The Senators will throw Nick Vandegriff against Pensacola's Santos Hernandez.
