Southern Maryland Blue Crabs News Release
WALDORF, MD . - The series opener between the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and the Camden Riversharks was postponed due to inclement weather in the Waldorf area. The two teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader tomorrow night starting at 5:30. Both games will be seven innings.
The Riversharks and Blue Crabs played four innings in just 54 minutes before the skies opened up and the rain became too strong to continue. Brad Meyers of Southern Maryland and Greg Miller of Camden each threw four scoreless innings but because the game did not resume, all stats will not count.
The Blue Crabs and Riversharks starters are unknown as of now. Probable starters for Game 1 are lefty Jake Brown (3-2, 3.25) for Southern Maryland while righty Nick DeBarr (0-0, 38.57) Is scheduled to pitch for Camden.
