Sioux Falls Storm News Release

Storm Defensive End, Rachman Crable has been named the VidSwap.com Week-15 IFL Defensive Player of the Week.

Crable earned the defensive player of the week honors for his standout performance that boosted the Storm to a 58-18 win over the Fairbanks Grizzlies. Rachman got his game going early as on the first play from scrimmage following the opening kickoff, Crable sacked Grizzlies QB Justin Rummell for a safety.

The seven year veteran didn?t stop there as he proceeded to make life miserable for Rummell the entire game. Not only did Crable finish with 6 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble, but he also marched a fumble recovery 35-yards for a Storm touchdown.

Crable has been wreaking havoc on opposing offenses all season. He is currently 2nd in the IFL with 19 tackles for a loss, and his 7.5 sacks are the 10th most in the league so far this season. He also has a knack for special teams play as he has blocked 5 kicks.

You can catch the Storm and Crable Saturday July 11, as they host the Sioux City Bandits inside the thunderous ? Storm Shelter? in the Sioux Falls Arena for the final game of the regular season. A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Arena Box Office or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
