Coyotes Recall Gaudet, Langhamer Reassigned to Rapid City

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Tyler Gaudet from the Springfield Falcons. In a separate transaction, Marek Langhamer has been reassigned to the Rapid City Rush, the club's ECHL affiliate. The 22-year-old Gaudet has appeared in four games with the Falcons this season. The 6-foot-3, 205- pound native of Hamilton, ON played in two games with the Coyotes and totalled 8-12-20 with 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 71 games with Portland (AHL) in 2014-15. Gaudet signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on Nov. 4, 2013.

Langhamer, 21, has not appeared in any games this season with the Falcons. The 6-foot-2, 192-pound goaltender appeared in 50 games with the Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL) last season going 30-16-3 with a 2.81 goals against average (GAA) and a .902 save percentage. The Moravka Trebova, Czech Republic native was drafted by the Coyotes in the seventh round (184th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
