
Coyotes improve to 20-2 with win over Dillas

It was a wild one on had at Edinburg Baseball Stadium as all 3,633 fans got their moneys worth. It was a game that involved home runs, web gems, and of course a Coyotes victory.
The Dillas would strike first in the top of the first inning off of a Schneidmiller single that would score J. P. Davis. The Coyotes would answer back though and tie the game in the bottom of the second with a Robinson Cancel home run. The Coyotes would add another run on in the bottom of the third off of a Eddie Lara RBI single.
Amarillo would strike for runs in the top of the fifth and sixth but the Edinburg would not allow them to come back as they countered with two runs in the bottom of both the fifth and the sixth.
Edwar Ramirez would come in to a no out, bases load jam in the top of the ninth and would convert the save opportunity, his tenth. Ryan Harris (3-0) will throw on Saturday against Stevenson Agosto (1-2).
The Edinburg Coyotes are part of United League Baseball, an independent league of six professional baseball teams located in Texas and Louisiana. The United League is in its inaugural season this summer with teams located in Amarillo, Edinburg, Laredo, Harlingen, and San Angelo, Texas; and Alexandria, Louisiana. The ULB will play a 90-game schedule between May and August 2006.
