
Coyotes Assign Plachta to Springfield

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Matthias Plachta to the Springfield Falcons. The 24-year-old native of Freiburg, Germany has appeared in three games with the Falcons this season. The 6-foot-2, 218-pound Plachta registered 14-21-35 with 73 penalty minutes (PIM) in 47 games with Mannheim (DEL) last season.
Plachta signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on May 28, 2015.
