November 8, 2006 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release
The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Logan Couture has been selected to play in the ADT Canada/Russia Series game on Monday, November 27, 2005 in Oshawa, Ontario.
Couture is a late addition to Team Ontario as league officials wanted to be certain Couture is healthy after being sidelined by mono since the beginning of October. Couture will return to game action for the 67's this Friday against the Kitchener Rangers.
Logan Couture will join 67's teammate Jamie McGinn on Team Ontario that will square off against a Russian team coming to Canada to play two exhibition games against the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and the Ontario Hockey League.
This International Series will serve as part of Team Canada's evaluation process for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.
