Cousins Subs Support Wave, All-Stars

MILWAUKEE (January 30, 2005) - Cousins Subs has partnered with the Milwaukee Wave and Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) to become the title sponsor for the 2006 Cousins Subs MISL All-Star Weekend presented by Time Warner Cable. The All-Star Weekend will be held in Milwaukee on February 10 and 11; with the All-Star game kicking off at 7:00 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Arena on February 11.

For the first time in the League's five-year history, the signature mid-season event will feature a collection of MISL All-Stars competing against the Mexican Federation's National Futbol Rapido team. This is the first-ever international partnership for the MISL and its All-Star Festivities.

Cousins Subs Director of Marketing, Elizabeth Hoffmann, expresses Cousins Subs sincere excitement in sponsoring this one-of-a-kind event. "The MISL, through the Milwaukee Wave, has been very active in southeastern Wisconsin and, as a longtime partner with the Wave, we're proud to be working with them to bring this international competition to Milwaukee. Cousins Subs believes this event will greatly benefit Milwaukee's Hispanic community, the city itself and the game of soccer. As a dedicated community partner, Cousins Subs continues to search for opportunities such as this to benefit Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin."

We're all really excited about this event; it's going to be a great cultural experience for Wisconsin and the game of soccer."

The All-Star Weekend with kick off on Friday, February 10 with the Milwaukee Wave hosting a special 2006 MISL All Star Fiesta Garibaldi Commissioner's Dinner. Proceeds from the dinner and a special auction will be donated to the Wave of Kindness program. Funds raised will be used for game tickets and scholarships to directly benefit the Hispanic Community.

In addition to the All-Star Weekend events, Cousins Subs will host an autograph and picture session with the five Milwaukee Wave players selected to this years All-Star team. The event will be held at the Cousins Subs in Menomonee Falls (N79 W14727 Appleton Ave. - across from Menomonee Falls High School) from 4 - 7pm on Thursday, February 9th. Fans will not only be able to meet the players, they will be eligible to win prizes including All-Star Game tickets and autographed Jerseys.
