Not only will old acquaintance not be forgot, they will face-off against one other, as the Kalamazoo Wings and Toledo Walleye lace up their skates during the 10th Annual New Year's Eve Bash, presented by COOL 101 and WWMT News Channel 3. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-1-0-0 versus the Walleye.
Dropping a heartbreaking 4-3 overtime decision last night to the Chicago Express, Kalamazoo's winless streak was extended to five-games (0-4-1-0). Despite the loss, the K-Wings earned a point to remain in first place in the North Division by a single point over the Express.
Toledo's three-game winning streak came to an abrupt stop last night with a 3-0 loss at the Huntington Center against the Cincinnati Cyclones. The loss pushed the Walleye into fourth place in the North Division standings, just two points behind the Cyclones.
