Mr. K-Wing
With his first shift of tonight's game, no player in K-Wings' UHL history will have played more games for the franchise than Tyler Willis. Willis enters the contest tied with Mark Vilneff for the K-Wings' all-time lead in games played with 234.
Putting Up the Points
Two K-Wing players enter the game on impressive multi-game point streaks. Kory Karlander has registered a point in each of his last nine games, while Nick Bootland has reached the scoring column in their last six games.
A Cross to Bear
Rookie forward Justin Cross continued his scoring touch by lighting the lamp last night against Quad City. Cross leads all UHL rookies in goals scored with 22.
A Dominating Performance
After not seeing time between the pipes in the last seven games, goaltender Tom Askey returned the crease last night against Quad City. Askey was stellar stopping 32 shots to stymie Quad City 3-1 en route to his 21st victory of the season.
