Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the second time in just over a week, the two best teams in the United Hockey League will face-off at Wings Stadium, when Kalamazoo Wings host the Muskegon Fury. Kalamazoo leads the season series over Muskegon with a record of 2-1-0.
With their victory last night, the K-Wings are now in sole possession of first place in both the UHL and Central Division. Kalamazoo has won four straight games and they are unbeaten in regulation in their last six games (5-0-1).
With their loss last night to Missouri, the Fury moved to second place in the both the league and the division. Muskegon will be looking to regain their claim to the UHL throne and in the process look to avenge two straight losses to the K-Wings, the team that leads them by two points for first place.

With his game-winning goal last night against the Fort Wayne Komets, forward Tim Turner recorded his 11th game-winner of his K-Wings career. With 11 game-winning goals, Turner has set a new K-Wings UHL franchise record.
Rolling Along
Forward Nick Bootland is currently on a five-game point streak. The five-game streak is the longest current point streak by any K-Wings player. Right behind Bootland on four-game point streaks are forwards Jason Deitsch and Tyler Rennette.
All By Themselves
With their win last night against Fort Wayne, coupled with Muskegon's loss to Missouri, the K-Wings are in sole possession of first place in the Central Division. Besides being in first place in the Central Division, with 46 points, the K-Wings are also the top team in the United Hockey League.
The Great Wall
Goaltender Joel Martin recorded his league leading fifth shutout of the season. Martin, who leads the league with a goals against average of 1.83, is the only goaltender in the league under 2 goals per game. Joel also leads the UHL with a save percentage of 0.931 and is tied for the league lead in wins with 15.
