Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the third straight game, it's win-or-go home for the Kalamazoo Wings as they play the IceHogs in game six of their first round best of seven series. The K-Wings kept their season alive with a dramatic 2-1 overtime victory in game five.
Mike Manley's game-winning goal with just 1:45 remaining in the first overtime of last night's game brings the K-Wings to within one game of tying the series. Besides tying the series, a K-Wings victory would force a decisive game seven in this series Tuesday night at Wings Stadium.
The IceHogs have never advanced into the second round of the UHL playoffs; however, Rockford finds themselves just one victory from advancing in the postseason. With the tonight's game in Rockford, expect the IceHogs to play it like a game seven.

Scoring First
The key to tonight's game could be scoring first. So far in this series, the team that has scored first has gone on to win the game.
My Favorite Martin
Goaltender Joel Martin has had a splendid postseason. In the playoffs, Martin leads all UHL goaltenders with a miniscule goals against average of 1.13 and a save percentage of .961.
Rolling Along
Forward Tim Turner comes into tonight on impressive scoring streaks. Turner enters game six on a three-game point streak. The three-game streak ties Turner with Andrew Luciuk and Daniel Carriere for the longest postseason point streak by a K-Wings player in this year's playoffs.
Feeling Manley
With two points last night, which includes the game-winning goal, forward Mike Manley has now recorded three points in the postseason. The three points places Manley tied for third place among all UHL rookies in postseason scoring. Mike also joins Missouri River Otters forward Justin Quenneville as the only rookies to score a game-winning goal in this year's playoffs.
