Kalamazoo Wings News Release
The Kalamazoo Wings continue their six-game road trip and their tour of the Western Division tonight against the Missouri River Otters. The K-Wings started their road swing with a 3-2 victory over the Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday.
The K-Wings enter tonight's game looking for their longest winning streak of the season. Kalamazoo brings in a two-game winning streak into the Family Arena. The K-Wings started their current winning streak with a New Year's Eve victory over Kansas City Outlaws. On the season, the K-Wings are 8-4-0 against teams from the Western Division.
Tonight marks the return of Jim Montgomery to the River Otters lineup. While the return of Montgomery from the injured reserve list is big for the Otters, Missouri has been playing good hockey without the star forward. Missouri enters tonight in third place in the Western Division and they are just eight points behind Fort Wayne for first place. In fact, the River Otters are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games and are 12-5-1 at The Family Arena.

The K-Wings will continue their six game road swing this week with four games, which includes tonight's game at Missouri. Currently on the road trip, the K-Wings are 1-0-0. All six games of the road swing will be played against teams from the Western Division.
