Published on December 4, 2004 under International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the first time since the 2002-03 season the K-Wings will make a visit to Glens Falls, New York to battle the Adirondack Frostbite. While tonight will be the lone regular season encounter between the teams at the Glens Falls Civic Center, some of the K-Wings players are hoping to return to this building this year, as the Frostbite will host 2005 UHL All-Star Classic in January.
The K-Wings enter tonight looking to avenge a November 13th loss to the Frostbite. Kalamazoo will also attempt to end a season long three-game winless streak. Sean Starke enters the game on a K-Wings season high three game goal scoring streak. Starke has also scored four goals in his last five games.
With their 6-5 victory last night over Port Huron, the Frostbite have won three straight games and will be looking for a victory to tonight to tie their longest winning streak of the season. After a slow start to the season, Adirondack has fought their way up to second place in the UHL's Eastern Division and they are just four points behind Danbury for the division lead.
