Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Not since their days in the IHL have the Kalamazoo Wings played in Kemper Arena, but that will all change tonight, as the K-Wings travel to Kansas City, Missouri to play the Outlaws.

Despite losing last night at home to the Fort Wayne Komets, the K-Wings enter tonight's game poised to extend their three-game road winning streak. Yannick Carpentier, who leads the K-Wings in scoring, will try to extend another streak tonight, as the forward enters Kemper Arena with a three-game scoring streak. Tonight's game is also game one of a six game road swing for the K-Wings.

While the K-Wings are starting a road swing, the Outlaws just finished one of their own. Kansas City completed a 15-game tour of the UHL, which included a 5-3 loss to Kalamazoo at Wings Stadium back on November 5th. While the Outlaws have only played two games at home, it has been home sweet home for Kansas City, as the Outlaws are a perfect 2-0-0 at Kemper Arena.
