Kalamazoo Wings News Release

The Kalamazoo Wings and the Flint Generals will face-off tonight in a battle of intra-state rivals. In their UHL history, the K-Wings have had problems defeating the Generals; however, that has not been the case this season, as the K-Wings are 2-0-1 against Flint.

Kalamazoo puts their three game winning streak, as well as their 14 game home unbeaten streak on the line. The K-Wings will also debut a new player on the ice tonight, as Brent Rumble is set play in tonight's game. Rumble, who is a graduate of Western Michigan, played Tuesday night at Wings Stadium; however, that night he was a member of the Rockford IceHogs. Rumble capped off a stellar game by assisting on Rockford's lone goal of the game.

Flint has struggled of late, going 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. The Generals are on a one game winning streak, thanks to their 6-3 victory last Sunday against Port Huron. Bobby Reynolds, who was the UHL's Player of the Month for the month of January, leads Flint in scoring with 60 points.
