For the second straight night the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up their skates versus the Fort Wayne Komets. Kalamazoo defeated Fort Wayne last night by the final of 4-3. The K-Wings lead the season series with a record of 8-3-0-0, which includes a record of 5-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium.
The K-Wings come into the game looking to move into a first place tie atop the Eastern Conference. With 73 points, Kalamazoo trails the Orlando Solar Bears by a single point for second in the conference and they are two points behind the South Carolina Stingrays for first.
Today is the final game of a three-game road swing for the Komets. Fort Wayne is 1-1-0-0 during the current trip. After this afternoon, Fort Wayne will play five out of their next six contests at Allen County Memorial Coliseum.
