GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that infielder Chesny Young has joined the Cougars from Short-A Boise while infielder David Bote has been transferred to Boise. Young (14th round, 2014) becomes the second member of the Cubs' 2014 draft class to join the Cougars this summer as 1st round pick Kyle Schwarber played in 23 games before receiving a recent promotion to Class-A Advanced Daytona.
