Cougars Launch Teen Ticket Initiative

PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club, in partnership with Brownridge Insurance and Earl's Kitchen & Bar, is excited to announce a ticket initiative geared towards local teens.

For the Cougars' final two Wednesday home games on February 28th, against Kelowna and March 7th, against Portland, tickets are just $5 for teenagers 13 to 19-years-old, courtesy of Brownridge Insurance and Earl's Kitchen & Bar. Teenagers, purchasing tickets must show government issued ID or student ID.

Vice President, Business, Andy Beesley, "We're very proud to have Brownridge Insurance & Earl's in partnership with the Cougars. Brian Brownridge, Dan Connolly and their staff are such amazing community minded people, and the fact they are willing to make it unbelievably inexpensive for teens to attend these games, is a true testament to their generosity and goodwill towards our city."

That's not all, as six teenagers, three at each game and who bought the $5 tickets, will be chosen to participate in a shootout for $5,000! All six shooters will receive a $100 gift card from Earl's Kitchen & Bar.

Eligible teenagers can purchase their $5 tickets at the TicketsNorth box office at the CN Centre. The TicketsNorth box office is open weekdays 10 am - 5:30 pm, Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm, and 10 am on game days.

The Cougars start a four-game road trip Saturday, February 17th, in Kamloops against the Blazers. They also visit the Kelowna Rockets on Tuesday and the Spokane Chiefs on February 23rd, and the Tri-City Americans on February 24th. Fans can listen to all four games on 94.3 The GOAT or they can watch online via WHL Live.
