Corvallis Knights Update
June 8, 2012 - West Coast League (WCL)
Corvallis Knights News Release
The season is now underway, and your defending West Coast League champion Corvallis Knights are off to a great start! We won our first two series, against Walla Walla and Klamath Falls.
We're currently away from Corvallis on a five-game road trip to Wenatchee and Cowlitz, but we return home this Wednesday for a three-game series against Walla Walla. It's another rematch of the 2011 West Coast League Championship series, where we swept the Sweets to win our second WCL crown.
Wednesday is Philomath Chamber of Commerce Night, and a Senior Wednesday. GA tickets for fans age 60 and over are just $2, and popcorn is just $1.
The next night is a Block 15 Thursday, presented by KLOO-FM, with a special Block 15 brew featured (and priced right). It's also $1 hot dog night.
And Friday marks the return of the Famous San Diego Chicken. He thrilled and entertained Knights fans at Goss Stadium last summer and he's back for an encore performance. Nachos are $1 on Friday nights.
