Auditions

Friday, March 2nd 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Saturday, March 3rd 10:00am to 3:00pm

Sunday, March 4th 10:00am to 2:00pm

AUDITION INFO & ITINERARY:

Friday, March 2nd 6:00pm to 9:00pm

6:00pm Registration

Pay $25.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE) application fee - Applicants Must Be 20 years or older.

A full body photograph not smaller than a 5x7 or larger than an 8x10.

A cut and ready CD of your 1 to 1 ½ minute choreograph dance routine.

Note: Anyone without ALL of the Requested information will be turned away on Registration day!!

7:00pm Questions and Answers

7:30pm Group Warm-up

7:45pm 1 mile run

8:15pm Introduction of the required jumps/kicks/tumbling

8:45pm Tryout order will be announced

9:00pm End of first day of the Sharks Cheer/Dance Team Auditions

Saturday, March 3rd 9:00am to 4:00pm- @ Mary Jane's Gymnastics

9:00am Group Warm-up

9:30am Auditions will begin.

Each girl will perform a Toe Touch, two (8) counts of straight high kicks,

and a tumbling pass, standing and/or running. Then they will perform

their individual choreographed dance routine.

4:30 pm First Cuts will be made. Finalists who make the first cuts will return on

Sunday March 4th at 10 am at Mary Jane's Gymnastics

Sunday, March 4th 10:00am to 2:00pm- @ Mary Jane's Gymnastics

10:00am Interview will be held with each candidate

11:45am Final auditions begin with each finalist repeating their individual dance and a toe touch, 2 (8) count of straight kicks and a tumbling pass.

1:15pm The 2007-2008 Corpus Christi Sharks Cheer/Dance Team will be

Announced.

1:30pm The new Sharks Cheer/ Dance Team will be fitted for their game

Uniforms, appearance uniform and dance shoes

ATTIRE FOR TRYOUTS: Black sports bra, Black jazz shoes or dance shoes,

Boy Cut black shorts and black jazz pants.
