Corny to Drive in Grand Prix Race

Corny, the Normal CornBelters baseball team mascot, will drive his Go Kart in the 5th annual Junior Achievement Go Kart Grand Prix Race. The event will take place on Friday, September 18th at 6:30pm at the Interstate center. Corny and a member of the CornBelters staff will be there to support the Junior Achievement of Central Illinois.
Junior Achievement is a program designed for local business owners and staff to come into classrooms across the McLean County area to teach students about business and life experiences. Since 2004, the number of Junior Achievement consultants has grown from 4 to over 200.
