CornBelters Announce Gameday Job Opportunities

NORMAL, Illinois - The Cornbelters are looking for gameday staff members for seasonal part-time positions at The Corn Crib for the 2018 season.
Applicants should be energetic, outgoing, and have a desire to have fun at their summer job as the CornBelters strive to deliver an affordable and family-friendly sports entertainment product.
Potential hires must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID and should bring a printed resume with them to the job fairs. Pay rates will be based on experience. Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the CornBelters 2018 season. For schedule information, visit www.normalbaseball.com.
The CornBelters have a range of gameday positions available. Each job is critical in providing guests with the best fan experience possible at the ballpark with the best possible and customer service:
- Stadium Ushers: Assist patrons at entertainment events by collecting admission tickets and passes, assisting in finding seats, and locating specific facilities.
- Parking Attendants: Serve as the first point of contact for fans visiting The Corn Crib on gamedays, collect payments/passes, and direct vehicle traffic to appropriate parking areas.
- Kid's Zone Leader: Monitor the Kids Zone(s) and The Corn Crib to ensure kids have a safe and fun environment to play in.
- Cooks & Food Prep: Prepare food options for the concessions stands, maintain a clean workstation, and assist with nightly closedown and dishes.
- Concessions Cashiers, Runners, Stockers: Assist guests with food and beverage transactions; pour alcoholic beverages (21+). Fulfill all concessions orders and deliver items to guests while keeping assigned concessions stands stocked with food and drinks. Must be able to lift 30-60lbs and climb up/descend stairs multiple times per game.
- Suite Servers and Attendants: Assist suite guests with food and beverage orders, including set up and cleaning of suites before/after games.
The CornBelters job fairs will be held Saturday, April 21st and Saturday, April 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Corn Crib located at 1000 West Raab Road in Normal. Applicants should park on the northwest corner of the ballpark and enter through the main gates.
