WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Local weather forecasters are calling for hot and sticky conditions throughout the Wilkes-Barre area this week, including heat indexes reaching into the triple digits on Saturday.
One location that won't be hit with the heat and humidity is the new Ice Rink at Coal Street Park.
With temperatures in the mid to high 50's, the Ice Rink at Coal Street Park is the perfect place to beat the heat.
Public skating sessions are scheduled for the following times this weekend:
Friday - 12:30-3:00PM and 7:30-9:00PM
Saturday - 1:00-3:00PM and 7:30-9:00PM
Sunday - 12:00-2:00PM
