Consol Energy Park Concert to Host Summer Event Series

Washington, PA - CONSOL Energy Park will host a Summer Event Series in conjunction with the Washington Wild Things' baseball games throughout the summer of 2012. The events include a Midway, Concerts, Circuses, and TNA Wrestling!

Tickets for three of the concerts go on sale today. Country Music Artist Darryl Worley will headline the first concert, which is slated for Friday, May 18th. Proceeds from this concert, which also includes artists Abby Abbondanza (formerly of the Poverty Neck Hillbillies), The Steve Smith Band, and Sarah Marince, will benefit the Wounded Warrior's Project.

The following day (Saturday, May 19th), CONSOL Energy Park will host a double header of concerts. During the day, fans are invited to a free concert that features Johnny Angel and the Halos and The Four Townsmen.

The second feature on the 19th is a show that includes Donny Iris, Joe Grushecky, and Chris Higbee (formerly of the Poverty Neck Hillbillies).

On June 16th, the park will host The Country Throwdown, featuring Gary Allan along with Rodney Atkins, Josh Thompson, Sunny Sweeney, Eric Paslay, Florida Georgia Line, and Maggie Rose.
