
Connecticut Sun To Host Inaugural Tip-Off Breakfast

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun will host its inaugural Tip-Off Breakfast on Wednesday, May 14th at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center.
Held from 7:30 - 9 a.m., the Tip-Off Breakfast will be the first chance for fans to meet the 2008 Connecticut Sun roster. WNBA President Donna Orender will also be on hand to discuss the state of the league and the impact the Sun have had. Head coach Mike Thibault and his players will outline the team's expectations and goals for the 2008 season.
Tickets for the event are $50 and are going fast. Tables of 10 can also be purchased for $500. Don't miss this chance to be one of the first to get to know the newest members of the Connecticut Sun. "It is our hope that the Tip-Off Breakfast will become an annual event where fans get the opportunity to meet the team up close and to hear first hand our perspective on the season, all while raising money for the Connecticut Sun Foundation," Sun general manager Chris Sienko said.
The Connecticut Sun Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of Connecticut's youth by supporting athletic and educational endeavors. Other Foundation events will be forthcoming throughout the year, including a golf tournament at Mohegan Sun Country Club at Pautipaug on August 20th.
