Uncasville, CT - In honor of Black History Month, the Connecticut Sun is pleased to announce the "Health Equity & Wellness Forum." The webinar discussion, which will be led by Sun guard DiJonai Carrington, is focusing on this year's Black History Month theme from the Association for the Study of African American Life and History: Black Health and Wellness. It is important to the Sun that the team and organization does their part to educate fans and raise awareness on the issues many people in this country are facing.
"The community team members we have assembled for this event are all in our cities and neighborhoods, serving our fans when their needs are highest. Their impact will be celebrated next Thursday night," Carrington shared.
The one-hour virtual panel discussion will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 6:00 P.M. EST via Zoom.
