Community to Help Choose West End Stadium Bowl Seating Design

May 18, 2020 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - FC Cincinnati News Release

CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati fans are being asked to help the club make a very visible, lasting design decision for the club's under-construction West End Stadium.

Starting today, fans will have five days to register their votes for their favorite final bowl seating design from a group of four patterns designed by stadium architect Populous. FC Cincinnati will reveal the winning design on Wednesday, May 27. Seat installation in West End Stadium is expected to begin in the fall.

Fans can register their vote from among the four possibilities at fccincinnati.com/seatdesign through 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, May 22.

All fans who successfully register a vote will be entered into a random drawing to win two (2) tickets to FC Cincinnati's first game at West End Stadium in 2021.

"From the first days of FC Cincinnati, our supporters and fans have been a key part of the organic growth of our club. Given their enthusiasm and leadership in helping us build FCC, we wanted to include our fans and our city in this fun decision," FC Cincinnati president Jeff Berding said. "Images from inside stadiums are iconic and easily recognizable, and so it's very special to us that our fans will help make this decision that will represent our club for many years to come. We have four great options - all of which would look fantastic inside West End Stadium - so we're excited to see what the fans like."

FC Cincinnati's West End Stadium is currently under construction, and the installation of the horizontal trusses to support the stadium's 360-degree canopy roof began last week. The stadium will open in Spring 2021.
