Community Collectibles Series Adds Limited-Edition Shirt Featuring Rafa Diaz

The third installation of Republic FC's Community Collectibles Series is sure to be a real keeper! Fans and supporters can snag the limited-edition, Rafa Diaz t-shirt at Heart Health Park at Saturday's match. Proceeds will benefit two non-profits - the Republic FC Foundation and Robla Education Foundation - the latter being personally selected by Diaz.
"I chose the Robla Education Foundation because I specifically wanted to support a non-profit that works with low-income students-because I was one of them," said Diaz. "I'm glad that the proceeds from this shirt will be used to purchase soccer equipment for Robla's after-school program, because I know firsthand how important soccer is in keeping kids active and out of trouble."
The Diaz shirt rounds out the Community Collectibles series, which also has also featured Hayden Sargis and Cam Iwasa. In addition to the Republic FC Foundation, Sargis' shirt benefits Albie Aware and Iwasa's benefits UC Davis Children's Hospital.
All three shirts were designed by local artist Kaly Stormer - a member of the Artist Spotlight collective working with Republic FC. Stormer's artwork is also on display at Arden Fair Mall now through September.
Fans can purchase the limited-edition Rafael Diaz t-shirt, along with the Sargis and Iwasa shirts, at Saturday's match. Head to the community kiosk at Heart Health Park, located near the guest services tent - only contactless payments accepted. Shirts are $35 and are available in adult sizes, small to extra-large. On-site purchases will also come a SRFC goodie bag that includes a water bottle and other surprises.
