November 7, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Arkansas Aeros News Release
SPRINGDALE, Ark. - The 2-0 Arkansas Aeros conclude their inaugural homestand this week with a pair of games slated for the All-Star Sports Arena in Springdale.
After wins over Monterrey Veneno and the Waco Wranglers to open their season, the Aeros have meetings with the St. Louis Stunners and the Arkansas RiverCatz on their plate this week. The Aeros will meet St. Louis at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, while they will entertain their sister team from Pine Bluff at 7:05 p.m. Sunday.
Note that the contest with the RiverCatz will tip off at 7:05 p.m. and not 4:05 as noted on some earlier schedules.
Tickets for both contests are available at the seven Take 2 Video Stores in Northwest Arkansas. Take 2 has two locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, and Rogers and another in Bentonville. Tickets are also available on line at www.tixdirect.net. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $6 for children between the ages of 6 and 14. Kids 5 and under are free.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
