Comet's Crew Adoptive Family for Christmas

The "Comet's Crew", booster club for the Kansas City Comets, is sponsoring a family for Christmas again this year and could use your help. Because we only have one more game before Christmas we are running short on time to get the word out and items collected. Although you may not be a booster club member, any help you provide would be doubly appreciated.

We receive the family from a social agency that approves them and provides us with information. Our family consists of a mother and father and 4 children ages 10, 4, 1 and 4 months. The mom and dad have requested nothing for themselves, just for the house and kids. The list is as follows:

Family Cleaning Supplies – lysol, scrubbing bubbles, etc

Girl age 4 Anything with horses, stuffed or plastic horses, clothing, etc.

Family Laundry soap 3-4 containers

Girl age 4 Pajamas size 5, shoes size 10 ½

Family Toilet paper, kleenex, napkins

Boy age 1 Clothes size 24 months, shoes size 10 ½

Family Diapers size 2 & wipes

Boy age 1 Pajamas, sleepers size 24 mos

Family Diapers size 5 and wipes

Boy age 1 Tigger toy that dances

Family Baby lotion, shampoo, powder, ointment, etc

Boy age 4 months Johnny Jump Up

Boy age 10 Remote control Beyblade – (at Target, Kmart, WalMart)

Boy age 4 months Pajamas, sleepers, size 6 mos.

Boy age 10 Pajamas – size 10

Boy age 4 months Clothes, size 6 months, shoes size 1

Boy age 10 Computer games – Window 98 – Jump Start 5th grade math or science

All Non-perishable foods and canned goods, baby foods

We will also accept money to put towards utilities or gift certificates for food. Please call Janet Murphy @ 816-274-4791 and leave a message – I will check my messages even when out of the office. Let me know if you pick a specific child / item so I can mark it off the list. Please bring all gifts and food to the game on the 14th.
