
Comets announce Nov. 27 home opener

The Kansas City Comets of the Major Indoor Soccer League will play their 2004-05 home opener at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 at Kemper Arena. The 40-game regular season schedule includes 20 home games at Kemper Arena.
The entire 2004-05 MISL schedule will be released at 1 p.m. on Sept. 15. The Comets, along with the rest of the MISL teams, will release their individual team schedules one hour later.
The 2004-05 season marks the 24th consecutive year of indoor soccer in Kansas City. The Comets finished the 2003-04 regular season just one win away for participating in the 2004 MISL Championship game.
The Comets are offering a special discount, called the "Kids Seat Free Plan," for the 2004-05 season for families in the Kansas City community. With the purchase of one adult midfield season ticket, a second child seat is free. Details are available at www.kccomets.com or through the sales department at the Comets front office.
Fans can choose from full-season, half-season or flex ticket packages in the battlezone, midfield reserved or endzone reserved sections. Single-game tickets, which start at $12, will be on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 27 at the Kemper Arena box office, which is located on the south side of the arena at 1800 Genessee in Kansas City, Mo. Tickets are also sold at all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 913-931-3330.
