Victoria, TX - The Strykers scored 2 runs in the top of the 1 st inning from a sac fly and a fielder's choice. The Generals came up in the bottom of the 1 st and scored 1 run off the bat of Brian Portelli that would score Justin Pacchioli, 2-1 Strykers.

The Strykers came back in the top of the 2 nd inning scoring 2 more runs to make it a 4-1 game going into the bottom of the 2 nd . In the 3 rd and 4 th inning the Strykers combined for 4 more runs making it 8-1.

James Swan, who came in to the game in the 5 th for Stuart Springer, pitched an amazing four shutout innings. Swan struck out three batters and walked two, leading the Generals back from a seven run deficit.

The Generals produced 1 run in the bottom of the 5 th inning when CJ Pickering hit a RBI double that scored Blake Cooper to make it 8-2, Strykers. Generals tacked on another run in the bottom of the 6 th when Kyle Danford hit a RBI single to score Dustin Theiss, 8-3 Strykers. JB Moss hit a RBI single in the bottom of the 7 th that scored CJ Pickering to make it 8-4.

The Generals scored six runs in the bottom the 7 th . They had two hits, four walks, and one error. This mammoth inning gave them the lead for the first time in the game.

The Strykers would add another run in the top of the 9 th to tie the game up.

The Generals would pull out the win in the 9 th after Bryce Only was walked with the bases loaded.

Friday night the Generals and the Strykers will conclude their two game series in Riverside stadium. The Generals will be wearing pink jerseys in support of breast cancer awareness. The jerseys will then be auctioned off after the game, with all proceeds going to fight against cancer! First pitch is set to begin at 7:05, with gates opening at 6.
