Columbus takes three-game winning streak from Pacific to Atlantic to face first-place Revolution

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Monday, September 5) - The Crew remains on the road this weekend to take on the New England Revolution on Saturday, September 10, at 7:30 p.m. (ET) at Gillette Stadium.

Saturday's game matches The Crew with the first-place team from the Eastern Conference, allowing them a chance to pick up more points in the race for the final playoff spot in the same conference. The team is currently 12 points away from the fourth and final playoff spot with just six games remaining.

The Crew (9-12-3, 30 pts.) is 5-2-1 under Interim Head Coach Robert Warzycha after downing Chivas USA, 3-0, on the road in Los Angeles on Saturday. All three wins have been shutouts, with the last two on the road. New England (14-5-6, 48 pts.) sits in first place in the Eastern Conference after a 1-0 victory over Real Salt Lake on the road on Saturday.

Saturday's game against New England will not be televised locally and can be seen only on the MLS Direct Kick package. It can also be heard in English on 103.9, TED-FM, or on-line at TheCrew.com and MLSNet.com.
