First place Revolution will train at Wrentham State

Foxborough, Mass. - The first-place New England Revolution (14-5-6, 48 pts.) will train Wednesday thru Friday of this week at Wrentham State School in Foxborough. At 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 10 at Gillette Stadium (TV-WB; Radio - WEEI 850AM) the Revs will host Eastern Division opponents the Columbus Crew (9-12-3, 30 pts.). The game can also be heard streaming live on www.revolutionsoccer.net .

The Revs will be hosting Military Appreciation Night at the game versus Columbus this coming Saturday night; all members of the armed forces are eligible for complimentary tickets and their friends and family will receive discounted tickets. For ticket information and information on Military Appreciation Night, please call 1-877-GET-REVS.

This past Saturday night, the Revolution defeated Real Salt Lake (5-16-4, 19 pts.) 1-0 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. With the victory, the Revolution earned three points in the standings to increase its total to 48 points on the season and break the club's season points total record.

Accredited media wishing to attend Revs training sessions are asked to contact the Revolution Communications Department on the day prior to each session to confirm attendance. Media wishing to attend home games must contact Revolution Communications NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the game. Media members who fail to provide advanced notice risk having their credential requests denied.

Please note that the Revolution is training at the Wrentham State School, Foxborough campus. Directions: From I-95, take Exit 9 for Route 1. Follow Route 1 for 3 miles to the third set of lights. Turn left at the lights onto North St. Follow North St. 1.5 miles and then bear left at the fork in the road. Continue .3 miles and turn left into the driveway for the school.
