Columbus Blue Jackets Recall Goaltender Anton Forsberg

Springfield, Mass. - The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled goaltender Anton Forsberg, General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Forsberg, 21, has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.36 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in three games with Springfield this season, stopping 82-of-89 shots faced. He is 4-2-0 with a 1.69 goals-against average and .940 save percentage in seven career AHL games since making his North American professional debut with the Falcons late in the 2013-14 season.

The Springfield Falcons travel to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Oct. 24 before returning to the MassMutual Center to face the Norfolk Admirals on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. Ticket packages are on sale now.
