Columbus Assigns Center Trevor Frischmon

Syracuse, NY (March 21, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Trevor Frischmon.

Frischmon, 28, has appeared in 67 games for the Crunch this season, contributing six goals, 16 assists and 24 penalty minutes. He currently ranks sixth on the club's all-time list in games played (239), recording 16 goals, 54 assists and 129 penalty minutes in those contests.

Prior to joining the Crunch, Frischmon spent four years at Colorado College (WCHA) from 2002-06, where he was a three-time member of the WCHA All-Academic Team and tallied 30 goals, 36 assists and 121 penalty minutes in 160 career games. A native of Ham Lake, Minnesota, Frischmon was signed by Columbus as a free agent on July 3, 2009.

The Crunch travel to Worcester on Tuesday, March 23 and Bridgeport on Wednesday, March 24 before returning home on Friday, March 26 to face Toronto at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
