
Colts Trade De La Garza to Abilene

San Angelo, Texas --- The San Angelo Colts announced Monday they have traded infielder Adam De La Garza to the Abilene Prairie Dogs in exchange for future considerations.
De La Garza hit .286 with five RBIs in 15 games with the Colts. The 24-year-old also had one stolen base.
De La Garza began his career in 2010 with the Amarillo Dillas. That year he hit .305 with seven home runs and 55 RBIs in 86 games. Now in his third professional season, De La Garza has a career .279 batting average with eight home runs and 105 RBIs in 197 games.
The Colts begin a two-game series against the Fort Worth Cats Monday at 7:05 p.m. at Foster Field. Gates open at 6:05 p.m.
The Colts are a member of United League Baseball who are in their 13th season. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the Colts' front office at Foster Field.
