It was a scoreless game until Colts starter Brian Henschel ran into trouble in the sixth. Rio catcher Gabriel Ortiz cleared the bases with a double as four runs in all crossed the plate and the WhiteWings led 4-0 after six.

In the top of the seventh the Wings exploded for four more runs. The WhiteWings collected four runs on four hits in the seventh. The Colts trailed 8-0 after seven innings and had no answer for Rio pitching, falling 9-0 to the Wings. The Colts end their season, being outscored 38-10 in the series.

Rio Grande pounded out nine runs on fourteen hits, playing an error free game. Julio Castro gets the win for Rio, going six innings giving up no runs on only two hits.
