San Angelo Colts News Release

HARLINGEN, Texas - After their last two games in Edinburg were rained out, the San Angelo Colts have traveled to nearby Harlingen and the bad weather has followed them. For the third straight day, the Colts will not be playing baseball, as Sunday's series opener against the Harlingen WhiteWings has been postponed because of rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday, July 7, with the first game beginning at 6:05 p.m. CT. The teams will play two seven-inning contests, and then conclude the three-game series on Tuesday, July 8.

After playing all 49 games as scheduled up to Friday, the Colts have now been rained out three consecutive days in the Rio Grande Valley and have only played one game on this scheduled six-game road trip, which they lost to Edinburg, 8-4.

The Colts return home to Foster Field for a three-game series against Laredo, beginning Wednesday, July 9. Fans coming that night can receive a haircut from Sport Clips in return for a small donation to charity. Game time is 7:05 p.m. CT. Advertising, ticket, and group information are available by calling the box office at (325) 942-6587. All Colts games are broadcast live on "Cool 100" - KCLL 100.1 FM and online at the Colts' official website, www.sanangelocolts.com, which is updated daily with the latest team news.
