San Angelo, Texas - May 30, 2006 - The San Angelo Colts announced today that rookie first baseman Greg Allain and pitcher Wil Rodriquez were released and pitcher Jonathan Pusateri was traded to the Amarillo Dillas for pitcher James Beever.
Beever is a right-handed pitcher with four years of pro experience. He has a career 4 wins, 2 loss, and 2 saves record. Also, added to the roster is right-handed pitcher Alejando Rodriquez acquired from the Alexandria Aces and right handed pitcher Mike Rodriquez. Mike Rodriquez pitched in the Dodger farm system for three years and with Sioux Falls of the Northern League for one year. His career record is 16 wins and 16 losses with a career 5.4 ERA.
